One of my major passions in life, besides my kids, is my camera…er…I mean “our” camera, back in the fall of 2007…I think. I can’t even remember, how sad is that? At any rate, Mr. Magoo and I were expecting and decided to purchase a camera with a fast shutter speed, vs. our old point and shoot. Almost a necessity with a child around. We decided to purchase a Nikon D40 SLR camera.
I’ve always had a passion for photography, then last year I was fortunate enough to take a photography course and felt my passion growing and have slowly made my way into shooting in manual mode. Although I have my limitations with a low end DSLR and kit lens, I’ve been trying to make the best out of it and trying to learn really, all that I can with my camera. I’ll just say “my camera” because well, it is my third baby.
Just don’t tell Mr. Magoo.
Photography is a constant journey and I cannot wait to see where it leads me.
