Bear with me here, it could get very random.
Today was a great morning, Mr. Magoo actually has the day off, a rarity…and we all cuddle in our bed when the boys woke up…just hanging out for a bit to wake up – it was the best start to my day in a while.
(please excuse the different watermarks)
Fall is here and things have been CRAZY it seems!
Little Magoo has been a challenge that is for sure and I have been busy keeping him occupied – painting “trees” with sponges of fall colors.
We’ve been having dance parties…
…and going outside in the rain to splash in puddles and collect whatever we may find.
It has been a wonderful couple of weeks despite the craziness.
I have been baking banana bread and coffee cake, with yummy streusel topping. I think if I could eat a big bowl of just streusel, I would. Don’t judge.
Editing photos to get them to my friends in a some-what timely manner, has been a priority too, as I had the opportunity to do a newborn and senior portrait session within these past two weeks.
(taken where I took some senior portraits)
Meanwhile there is the juggling baths and diaper changes and time outs.
Baby Magoo is army crawling EVERYWHERE.
I have been putting out fires by keeping small toys away from him and preventing Little Magoo from breaking my little baby’s back as he thinks he is old enough to wrestle. He lays on baby’s back and they both giggle away…such boys! It was only the other night I was making dinner and I heard a crash…our living room lamp on the floor…the poor shade is will never be the same and I foresee with two boys many many more broken lamps. Oh boy. Good thing we have a yard!
There are crafts I have been working on too. Little Magoo just loves the story Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems and thankfully I stumbled upon this amazing free Knuffle Bunny pattern on emilie handmade. It is just awesome. I was so glad to have found it. I changed up the pattern to my own tastes and made it out of terry cloth and satin, because to me, that is what Knuffle Bunny is made of and he is yellow, not green…but a Knuffle Bunny is different to everyone.
Here he is…and Little Magoo loves him so much. I should have saved it for Christmas!
I also managed to make a little mini-DIY lightscoop for my point and shoot camera. I get weird-crafty sometimes…but I don’t always have my SLR with me, so I wanted something to prevent a harsh indoor flash from the camera.
Look at the teeny-tinyness!
Here it is with the regular flash.
And here is an example with the mini-lightscoop. Awesome.
We hope to enjoy a pumpkin festival this weekend, some nice crisp fall air, fire engines and leaves…and maybe even bake a yummy apple pie! Mr. Magoo has the whole weekend off and dishes and dump runs and raking can wait. I can’t wait for partake in all this Autumn goodness!
Have a delicious weekend!!!

Ok you are so crafty. Love the bunny and the p&s lightscoop.
Looks like you have been busy! The bread looks fabulous…YUM!! Baby Magoo looks adorable as usual!!! And, little Magoo …they are always busy..aren’t they???
I am stealing your lightscoop idea! Any helpful hints?
Your boys are too cute. Love the dance party!
